Asta Gold – Director – Barrister and Solicitor
Asta Gold is an "adopted" Kiwi, having been born in New Zealand’s West Island (Australia) before moving to Waiuku 13 years ago.
She completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts at Griffith University in Brisbane before finishing this off with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from London Metropolitan University.
After working in Australia and England, Asta moved to New Zealand and started work in an inner-city Auckland firm in Civil Litigation and Insurance Law, then in South Auckland, specialising in both Civil and Criminal Litigation, before realising that what she really wanted to do was work close to home amongst friends and family - helping the local community.
Asta formed Gold Legal Ltd in 2016 and is pleased to be able to offer affordable legal solutions to Franklin locals.
Lucy Tucker - Barrister and Solicitor
Lucy graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Waikato in 2012, before working as a staff solicitor in a small litigation team. Her areas of speciality include civil and commercial disputes (including share milking and livestock disputes), relationship property, wills, estates and powers of attorney, as well as obtaining orders for property managers and welfare guardians.
In 2016 Lucy commenced work exclusively in criminal and traffic law, before taking some time off on maternity leave.
She joined Gold Legal in 2018 and is happy to assist you with any of your litigation needs. Lucy has a charming, yet professional manner, which clients say takes the stress out of an otherwise difficult situation.
Lucy is a keen equestrian and loves show-jumping. She lives on the outskirts of Waiuku with her partner and son and loves going out for dinner (as a self-confessed “appalling cook”), spending time with family and friends, and walking or riding in the Waiuku forest.
Sarah Kayll -Registered Legal Executive
Sarah is a Registered Legal Executive, who first began working as a Legal Secretary in 1996. She then developed her role, becoming a Legal Executive. Throughout her career, Sarah has worked in a variety of law firms, particularly in support of one of the partners of a Pukekohe firm for a number of years.
Sarah joined Gold Legal in January 2018. Her areas of speciality are varied but include residential conveyancing, wills, trusts and estates.
Sarah really enjoys working with first time home buyers, as she enjoys the excitement that they feel. She finds it extremely rewarding to help them on their journey to owning their first home and making it as stress free as possible for them from a legal perspective.
Sarah and her husband have four children and live in Waiuku. She enjoys supporting her children in their varied sports (including the local netball and rugby clubs) and socialising with friends.
